Dr. Dantz has in-depth experience in an industrial environment, gained while working on all aspects of industrial property rights and their application. He advises you, his client, with an eye on your business model, coupled with a strategy matched to your corporate goals to protect your intellectual property. He applies his knowledge and experience to generate the needed protection by filing for patents, and handling the process through to a patent award. In particular, he also delves into building up a portfolio of IP rights reflecting your entrepreneurial perspectives, defends IP rights via public use and revocation proceedings, and handles any appeals. He is particularly versed in enforcement of patent infringements, in or out of court.
Moreover, Dr. Dantz has broad experience in the transfer of IP rights and technologies. His expertise encompasses analyzing a portfolio of IP rights from the standpoint of its scope of coverage and freedom-to-operate, including preparing for and conducting the required due diligence. Furthermore, he is a recognized expert on licensing portfolios of IP rights – underscored by a remarkable track record in the nine-figure EUR range – while structuring cooperative agreements and contracts in these fields.
